Im looking forward to the New year. Over the last two years I've had a lot happen. It all started when my mom
passed away about two years ago. 6 months later I got Cancer, so been fighting that and 2 months after that in a lawsuit.
My Mom was ahead of her time and an extremely smart and capable woman for the 1950 to 70's. She
was a Chemical engineer at 3M and helped develop and produce gold plated ceramic tiles and capacitors for
the first space shuttle. Yes it was in design that far back.
When she retired, she turned into a beautiful artist, in every way, painting, bird houses, Jewelry, Blackening,
everything under the sun.
Including COINS!
I know it is controversial on this site, but she thrived in this environment and people loved her art. She had a website on ETSY and went to art shows, etc, made a lot of money and had fun doing it. Belts, Buckles, all sorts of stuff. (I hope to trade a few of the items later on)

So I learned a lot growing up, became a machinist. etc.
I can Plate, solder and do all her magic too :)
I'll never match her artistic ability though, I tried, LOL
I tried making coin rings like her but whoooo, very difficult, but I have quite a few. She could make the American Eagle ones for Men that were awesome looking, I just cant replicate that yet, very very hard to keep the Silver uniform, so soft.
I can do Brass and Copper pretty decent.
She had an extensive coin collection I inherited, of over 10,000 coins, so, shew
it has taken me a long time to even catalog this stuff. Some are indeed modified but are beautiful,
a lot are untouched in box's, I got a lot of them graded and are good.
While I had coins at NGC I got a HALT ORDER !
I found out she had an illegitimated child as I got paperwork to halt the estate. and it went to probate in court !
Lordy news this caused a lot of DRAMA !!! My Dad is still alive and finds out after 54 years of marriage “she cheated”
and - got a new Son ! HUH !
Damn ! that was hard.
I have been in LIMBO in in COURTS for 2 YEARS !

He tried to get all her coins (previous revenue from her sales, etc) and I never even meet this 1/2 brother, boy that was fun.
Needless to say “we dont talk”
SO now I am FREE to talk about this and it feels good for a new start.
As a celebration, My husband surprised me with the BEST Christmas gift,
He built me MY OWN WEBSITE !!!!!! IM so excited, I got a lot to do now, I need to load coins coins coins, as he made it so I can
use a spreadsheet to bulk upload, I just got to understand FTP a bit better and get my pictures on server in proper format.
It is not quite ready yet but it is very close. I cant believe he did this for me !
