What are preferences for the listing order of varieties for the 1 Dollar Federal Reserve Note?

I see that the French catalogue has notes printed at Fort Worth grouped together, whereas the English catalogue has them listed according to the 12 FRBs. Different Friedberg numbers also exist for the FW notes.
