1732 8 Reales MF (MX)

can anyone identify if it is genuine coin .. And it's worth.

Hello and welcome to Numista!

If it were real it would be priceless as it would be one of a kind. Unfortunately it's not authentic. All 1732's were F initial and Mo mint mark.

Krauze got 1742/32 MF at the same price point as other reales. Not as high as 1732-1933 Fs

Tks for the clarity.

Not sure what that has to do with the OP's object. It clearly isn't an overdate and still has the non-existent mint mark for either year.

I did come across this attached spec though, which states …

Obverse flanked by M F 8

Only F and Mo apply to 1732 coins.

Have you checked to see if it's even silver? Is it magnetic? What is the diameter and weight? What's the edge look like?

It's clearly a fake. Compare to a real one:

Description is verbatim copy from Standard World coins catalogue without table that tells year variants. You would need reference book dedicated to period reales for better information source.

Definetely non magnetic.

Wt …dont have accurate scale but feel it is  close to an oz

Well you can still sell it for $15 for the silver in it.
