Incomplete date?

Discussion about Arcot • 1 Rupee - Shah Alam II (Arcot)

Hello!  I have a fairly basic question from someone unfamiliar with coins from this area/era.  If I am reading the date correctly, the reverse indicates regnal year “27” which corresponds to AH1202.  The date on obverse is only three numbers, however, “122.”  Would it be plausible for such coins to drop a zero in the date sometimes, or is this a red flag?  Many thanks in advance for any insights.

The date is OK, the dot for zero is there

Hi, and thanks for your answer!  (And my apologies for the lackluster photo - I need to get a newer phone with a real macro option.)

Except with the dot there it would be AH1220 which would be RY 45.
