Hi Guys, is my 1965 quarter worth anything

It's worth around 25 US cents.

Welcome to numista.

The shown coin is worth what's written on it in the US of A. Not more, not less, it's still circulating.

How about opening a new request for each question and stop abusing the board and our valuable time?

Long time ago I suggested that any forum entry (except swapping) be available only after at least 3 months membership!

my apologies _I thought this is like a coin community/ marketplace I needed some info on a few coins and post stamps _also I’m new to numista so again apologies if I overstepped

That's even a worse question/suggestion than OP's questions.

Please people, don't forget we all started once with no knowledge at all whatsoever. Who knows what we would have asked if there was a forum back then.

And he's a brandnew member, is that how we welcome new members?

When I joined, I first tried to fathom at least some basics of the site and not immediately to ask how much my coin is worth! As it is now - and you may see that from simple statistics - there are thousands of “members” who joined just for that one question. Is it so bad to have a worm-up period for new members, a time to learn the basics, to read and acquaint themselves with Numista, to organize their collection…?

How about these 2

They’re pretty common and in pretty poor shape so they don’t have any value unfortunately.

Would it be possible to make it impossible for people to post a message, if they have NOT entered a single coin to their collection?

Yes, some times ago I was a new member, went to dejan for a swap (had no swaplist) and he turned me in a better direction. I have a great respect for him and his contributions.

My personal experience is that I did not join Numista to track my collection here, and it was years before I began to enter it.  Meanwhile, I had already begun contributing to the catalog.

On the other hand, we can expect new members to follow the rules about posting on the forum, and giving polite reminders is always a good idea.

Then allow from the first contribution of anything to numista, but it really is tiring to see  msg 1: how much?
