1 thaler of some kind. Solved Thaler 1535 from Saxony-Ernestine, Annaberg Mint

Hi here is a coin which is in 40mm and weighs 28.82g.

I assume this might be a Saxony-gotha coin of some kind. It appears to be minted in 1535. Or it might be a event that they are celebrating as there are two people, one on the obverse and reverse.

I would like to know the value of the coin, and history, if possible.

Thank you.

some of my other piece, that I have.

If it's real, it should be a Thaler 1535 from Saxony-Ernestine, Annaberg Mint. There are 4 similar 1535 Thalers from Saxony-Ernestine in our catalog, 2 of them from Annaberg Mint (N#359865 and N#22844). I believe the second one is from Freiberg Mint, although Numista and Krause say it's Annaberg Mint.

In Krause there are 8 different 1535 Thalers, one of them is a mule. That one is also from Annaberg Mint, unfortunately without pictures.

It's not an exact match, but variaties exist for all those Thalers.

Those two persons are the joint rulers of Saxony-Ernestine 1534-1539, namely Johann Friedrich I and Georg.

thank you for the swift reply, let me know if you want additional pictures. I have now searched abit on the web, like MAshops, and I found a match, perhaps it is this one?. I will attach the image of the one I think match mine.

It looks like a perfect match to me, including the Annaberg Mint mark (red circle).

Did that website also have a reference number for that coin?
