A little booklet.

Hello everyone,

yesterday, I decided to use a bit of my creativity and drawing skills, which is why I decided to make a small booklet for Austrian coins from 1812, specifically, for these coins:

N#20628

N#18829

N#7097

N#4684

Here are the photos. I used two sheets of very thick paper for it (300g/m²) and cut them 10cm high and measured how long it is and drew a line through the middle. The holes were cut with the help of a knife. I believe that this isn't the finished booklet yet, just a little prototype, as a few details are still not as would like them to be. It took a suprisingly long time, but I'm quite happy with the results. Here are some photos of it! Hope you'll enjoy.

Open to feedback! Thank you!

Looks nice but if you want to write in Fraktur I would advice using a calligraphy nip and ink. Makes things a tat easier. The writer in the video uses some kind of pen though.

What a fun project! Looks great, it makes me want to try something similar myself. Do you plan on making any similar booklets/holders?

Take a penny, leave a penny... or two

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

@Idolenz I believe that I have a pen like that somewhere. I'll try to find it and use it when making the next one. Thanks for reminding me!

@liumin I think that I will make some new ones for other coins soon. But, first I would have to find some coins that belong in a series like this. I'll probably also use older coins, as I like designing it in an old style like this.

Congrats! Very nice proyect, indeed.

The writing skills will improve for sure with every new holder.

Only sugestion: make sure that the paper you use is neutral and acid free! Just to avoid long term damage of your old coins.

Regards

Pecuniae imperare oportet, non servire

I tried it again! Also with an Austrian coin. I'm open to feedback again. :D Thank you!

Cute!

Such a nice unique method of displaying them. Great idea. 👍
