hello,

my most valuable coin is a spanish 200 Euro gold coin that I found on the link N#383839 on the Numista website and on the link https://en.ucoin.net/coin/spain-200-euro-1997/?ucid=72154451 on the UCOIN website.

On the UCOIN website this coin has the “Number” UC# 210 that seems to be a catalogue number. But I don't know a catalogue with the abbrevation UC. That's why I looked up this abbreviation in the Numista Reference catalogues but didn't find it.

Now I want to request the creation of a new reference to the catalogue with the abbrevation UC. I assume that somebody knows what catalogue the abbreviation UC belongs to. I don't have any information about this catalogue.

1. ADDITIONAL TOPIC “clarification of coin data for N# 383839”

1.1. clarification of the composition
I also found my coin on the link https://coinscatalog.net/spain/coin-gold-200-euro-tribute-to-the-national-aviation-x-me56-spain#tab=specification on the website COINSCATALOG.NET. While both Numista and UCOIN display the composition as Gold 0.900, COINSCATALOG.NET displays the composition as 0.999 Gold. This can mean that both values are correct but belong to different variants. But of course this can also mean that there is a mistake.

1.2. clarification of the weight

While both Numista and UCOIN display the weight as 34,55, COINSCATALOG.NET displays the weight as 34,6 g. The same possibilities here: different variants or error.

1.3. clarification of the alignment

While all websites display the Obverse and the Reverse in the same alignment, this is not the case with my coin. The Reverse of my coin is upside down to the Obverse.

2. ADDITIONAL TOPIC “clarification of all references for all variants of the N# 383839 coin in the X catalogue”

2.1. clarification of the number of references for N# 383839 like coins in the X catalogue
The entry for the N# 383839 coin on the COINSCATALOG.NET website (see 1.1) displays the catalog number as X# ME56. But a search for “X# ME*” on the Numista Search the catalogue page returns only “No result has been found.” (but “X# *” returns 3743 results what shows that there are a lot of X# descriptions in the Numista catalogue). Please look up all references for N# 383839 like coins in the X catalogue. Is there only one reference or are there several references? How many?

2.2. Please add all references for N# 383839 like coins in the X catalogue to the Numista catalogue including composition, weight, alignment and prices.

Thank you very much.

On UCOIN a UC reference number means UCOIN #. They use that a lot when Numismaster hasn't issued a KM# for the coin. I don't know if UCOIN has a real catalog with all their UC  numbers but I don't think Numista will add it.

1.2 - Same weight, just rounded off differently.

1.3 - Ucoin has coin alignment like your coin. Numista does not say what the alignment is.

2. - Numista is a user (crowd sourced) catalog. You are free, and encouraged, to ask for the addition of reference numbers directly. Click the “Modify or add date to this page” icon on the top right and ask for the changes you are requesting.

Add all the X references that apply:

X# or  at least the latest version [Krause] Standard Catalog of Unusual World Coins (6th Ed., 2011) doesn't contain any X# ME… references there are only M…, MA… and M-A…,  also there are no 200 euro medal listed under Spain only two 20 Euro items.

If your item came in this you should have all the relevant info in the package listed. I couldn't find anything on mint's page about it.

The mintage of 3000 that is also missing on Numista I have seen repeatedly mentioned in multiple places.

Hello, first of all congratulations on the beautiful (and valuable) coin you have.

My colleagues have already explained several catalog reference issues to you and there is little more to add to that (I have not found that reference X# ME56 anywhere other than in your link), so I think it is better to leave this field without reference , more than Numista N#'s own...).

As a referee from Spain, I have made a series of corrections and additions to the coin (the Series was incorrect, the diameter too, and I have expanded the description and comments, I have added the circulation of 3000 units and I have included coin alignment).

I think it would be good, if you @UweGalle  have the Certificate, to include the “Gold.900 or 999?” and tell me if the edge is plain or reeded (there is a discrepancy on the websites that I have reviewed).

Please, I ask a catalog administrator to modify the year of the coin, I cannot do it. It's clearly 1997 and not 1998 as it is now. Thank you.
