proof should be a different coin/KM number shouldn't it?

If the coin is just a proof version of a normal coin it will have the same KM#. But if a coin has been made from a different metal such as Silver or Gold then yes it will have a different KM#.

But sometimes it is just a small difference to the KM# from the normal Coin.

For instance this coin N#87706 is KM# 645

But the silver version N#66274 is KM# 645a

Thanks And yes, if you get a proof version of this coin, no weight will be added to your collection silver weight on numista as it has no bullion value according to this way of listing

if there is indeed a silver version, a new page should indeed be created (best to use the duplicate function)
