Roman Bronze with Portrait on Each Side [solved]

6 posts • viewed 84 times

Hi!  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about a Roman bronze which appears to have a portrait bust on each side.  The first (obverse?) appears to be the head of a Roman emperor.  I cannot read the inscription, but it looks rather like Hadrian to me.  The second shows what looks (to me) like a younger man with short hair.  The text is difficult to read but seems to begin beneath the head with "OL..."?

The measures approx. 25mm across at the widest point and weighs 8.35g.

Any suggestions appreciated.   Thanks!

(Apologies if you've seen this before: I posted on another coin forum but did not get any answers there.)
