Numista correctly separates out coins dated up to 1987 from those from 1988-1991, on the basis of the size of the crowned monogram (which became marginally smaller). So I measured my coins and confirmed that this was true, but it is MUCH EASIER to see the effect by looking at the gap between the top of the cross and the rim. The resultant larger gap is very noticeable, even without magnification. I think this might be drawn to Numista users' attention.
