Hello,

I need your help about authenticity (I read a lot of thing about it…), grade and maybe value off this coin (I just adapt brightness on pics):

weight: 20,01g +/- 0,01

diameter: 35,5mm

thickness: 2.5-2.6 mm

Non magnetic (test with neodymium magnet)

Seems made of silver ,  “sounds” good

Thank you

Attention.exist a lot of replikas.i have they in my collection but i dont know is she real….

With this type always assume it is counterfeit and this type has been discussed numerous times here on Numista. As said previously, this coin is notorious for excellent counterfeits and is widely known as suspect until proven otherwise because the counterfeits are so well done. The only way to be absolutely certain it is genuine is to pay a grading service who will guarantee authenticity. That costs money which is your choice.

It is a fake, to my mind. And not the best fake I have seen. A lot of mistakes in letters in legend on the reverse and in engraver name on the obverse, especially O in Motti. And in general the “coin” is not looks to be minted.

Maybe a photo of my coin will help as a comparison. I found it at the flea market. I'm 99% sure it's real but not 100%...:). As another member mentioned here, you would have to have it checked, but that would probably cost more than the coin is worth. but... maybe there is someone here in the portal who can say more about it. I'm curious...

Hy,

So I am. By overlaying your pics with mine, I can't see any differences, so I still hope my coins is a real one.

Let's wait more opinions.

Witch is amazing for a coin for a coin strike at more than 3500 000 parts.

Compare. I adjusted the light on your example. Frankly, I am undecided on authenticity.

I see some discrepancies in the “G. ROMAGNOLI” and the A. MOTTI. INC.”, most noticeable difference is there.

Your one just looks fake on a glance

Better pic from my coin under natural light.

Rim looks way too thick and the lettering on the front is barely visible as in the “A. MOTTI. INC”, my number 1 rule is anything from flea markets is mostly fake

Hello,

Storm in my head! Let me think about it and please, if there are other opinions…

Thank you

I'm sorry but it's a classic fake.

Check the height of the edge, It tell all.
