Hello 🤖

Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

Please note that this is an automatic message. Feel free to ignore if it is not relevant.

Assuming you are referring to this coin:  N#12810  what is it you want identified or valued?

Edit: I replied before you posted the pictures. I think you have the W.W plus some fortunate damage.  I could be wrong.

Apologies on delay , first time user and gremlins on iPhone , with pictures ,

I am getting used to it now ,

The W.W. Is there on the coin and it has been used before on Gold coin of said sovereign

No problem, it takes time to figure out how things work

The only varieties I know of for this coin is “no initials”, “.W.W” and “W.W” .  The coin page talks of a “WW” variety. I'm not an expert so I'll let others continue from here.  Can you post a picture of the obverse in focus?

Welcome to Numista!

Thanks ,  I  have an image of Gold sovereign of William 1V with the same W.W. If that helps in any way

Black mud sand find possible purse loss , sand grime does come off , but thinking just leave be ,

Inconclusive from this new picture.

I'm still of the opinion that the second period is just PMD.

Thanks. Better picture. Same opinion. Let's wait for other opinions.

Thanks will get my sons camera in a day or so and post up some better micro pics

Pretty sure this is a halfpenny.

Pretty sure this is a halfpenny.

I thought so, too. Then I convinced myself that it wasn't.  Now, that I looked at it again, I think you're right. Diameter or weight will confirm.

Really sorry about that , your right ,sorry to waste your time, just put it next to Victorian coin

Wasn't a waste of time. You learned something as did I. All is good.

Thanks , still cant believe it. will post up in a day or two  some better micro pics
