Today the post office brought me this beauty.  It is each with a different vintage.  All are genuine modern  imitations mints.

The quarter dollar is mint "S" and "D"

It is an addition to the exonumia of my album dedicated to circus coins and creativity.

My three newest arrivals.

French Medal on Admiral Courbet, struck in 1927

A Medal or Token, I still need to id it of the Glasgow and Liverpool Steam Shipping Company, White metal medal from around the 1830‘s

a danish medal of which I had already the gilded bronze version struck to commemorate those who helped fight in the Schleswig Holstein War

Medal struck in 1848-1849

I've added a paper one to my collection this month and will have to add it to this catalogue as its not on here …. well when I get around to it that is not added last months one yet so hanging my head in shame.

Anyways I have a UK postal order QEII for one shilling and sixpence date stamped in Marlow Bucks not a brilliant example of a postal order but it'll do for now and will be my very first paper addition to my collection

Think I have just added the strangest items to my collection thus far….

I purchased three old brass colliery tokens today from a charity shop.

These are the tokens that the men who worked down the pit used to take one with them at the start of a shift and return it at the end so everybody knew they were on the surface again.

Not sure if I will be adding them to the catalogue here or not as they are just so random.

One is numbered just with 51 but its a sliced token for Hatfield pit.

The next is numbered 11 over 254 with North Notts Area Colliery on it.

Last is Creswell Colliery

Ahoj.

And please, can you take a picture of them and show them.  I have a token from a coal mine, but in the sense of buying in my own store.  I hear the entrance and exit from the shaft for the first time.

Nothing flash Creswell top, Hatfield in the middle and North Notts last. But the charity was as far as I am concerned are a really good one they were at the air ambulance charity shop couldn't find anything else that tempted me and I love to support them as they are there for anybody that needs them :)

The seller made an offer just now for this that I was watching and I accepted

Just added two more to my collection plus two that are curculatory coins as first day covers by the Royal Mint.

For medals though its these two…. This one that is already on here

Medal - William Wyon Bicentenary - United Kingdom – Numista

And this this one below which isn't on here also a Royal Mint First Day Cover issue coin plus stamps with a very informative interior about the designer of the famous aircraft. Going to have to read the interior from back to front to try and find out how many were struck/minted  as can;t at a glance see that information anywhere but lovely its proof like … seriously magpie shine 🤣
