I have one of these coins with text around the edge - Can this be added to the page as an additional option under ‘Mintage’ please?

Full text reads:   - PAYABLE IN LONDON   BRISTOL   &    LANCASTER

N#53433

The change of colour is due to amount of light needed just to get the picture.

I added this.

You need someone with a D&H catalogue to identify all the different varieties and their catalogue codes.

@Dejan Thanks for this, it is very helpful.

@LDC63 Based on the screenshot shared, your token has a different D&H catalogue ref and should go on a separate listing.

@peterjhalford Do you agree with my observation and would you be able to support the OP with adding this page. You'll then need Admin assistance to get any members' collections moved across from the edge lettering line on DH#1033 to the new DH#1035 page.

Yes I agree, If someone can create the page I can approve.

I had some spare time so I have created the new page and submitted a change request for the old page. You will still need Admin assistance with moving the members' collections over, once the new page has been validated and published.

@Jarcek  please can you assist with the movement of members as per this thread.

New entry: ½ Penny (Middlesex - Political and Social Series / Newton) - United Kingdom – Numista

existing entry: ½ Penny (Middlesex - Political and Social Series / Newton) - United Kingdom – Numista

 Thanks

It is my opinion that all these coins (1033, 1034 & 1035) & their varieties (9 altogether) should be on the same page (as they are in the original Dalton and Hammer catalogue). That way, it will be much easier to determine a variety than if they are on three separate pages!

Here's my “one page” suggestion:

existing variations:

DH#1033; A.126 – dot under the R of “SR”, engrailed edge

DH#1033a – plain edge

DH#1034; A.127 – no dot under the R of “SR”, engrailed edge

DH#1034a; A.127a – plain edge (not in collar)

DH# 1035; A.128 – O: similar to 1034, the small R of “SR” smaller, legend closer to bust

R: right hand wing points between the two NN of “PENNY”

E: PAYABLE IN HULL AND IN LONDON

DH#1035a; A.128a – PAYABLE IN LONDON BRISTOL & LANCASTER . X . X .

DH#1035b; A.128b – PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE LIVERPOOL.

DH#1035c; A.128c – engrailed edge

DH#1035d – plain edge

Many, many thanks for all the comments on my coin.

I've just read the last post and thought it would be good to take another picture of the coin, specifically the part of the edge between the words LANCASTER and PAYABLE (see below).  it seems there is an overwritten dash between the E and R then 1 star/cross and another dash before the P.  Now, I'm not sure if mine is exactly what's been listed.

Any further comments?
