While downsizing, I found 17 banknotes (all in good condition) that my father had saved. Using Google Lens and eBay it looks like 16 of them are German or Austrian from 1920-22. The other is from Japan 1948? Based on a very cursory look on eBay, they are asking $3-20.
I am not a collector and they hold no sentimental value to me so I am looking to thin out and make some pocket change. I would prefer to go to a local shop and have someone look at them if possible. I live in the Little Rock, AR area and make frequent trips to coastal Virginia (Virginia Beach area) and Milwaukee, WI. If there are no shops, what is the best way to sell them?
My father was a small-time coin collector and I remember receiving the Numismatic News newspaper at our home when I was a girl :)
Looking at coins on this site brings back good memories.
Thanks!
