I've been adding signatures to Iceland and the forced dates seems to disappear, when signatures are added.

What happened? And can it be reversed?

Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to add an example. Notice the (), after the year in the information box

Poke@dzmitry.huletski and @Xavier for this bug.

With the addition of signatures to the Faroe Islands, I'm encountering the same problem with the force date disappearing.

I tried adding the signatures to this note:

N#358611

And the forced date of (1951-1955) and (1955-1960) disappeared.

When you're aware of the bug or whatever it is, it's only a slight annoyens. But for the Iceland notes I added signatures for, I can't revert them back to the original forced year, since that's not locked anywhere, nor can I find it anywhere in my books, can't even remember the year in the forced dates, affected by the disappearence…

Do @dzmitry.huletski or @Xavier  have any solutions to this problem? Any problemsolving, especialy for the Icelandic notes? I'll correct the Faroese note though.

Thanks :)

Most likely a space problem were the tables are getting to crowded and compress. Is the data still present on the edit page?

No, it's not present on the edit page.

I can put in the data afterwards with no problem. Am I missing something or do we lack a record of year line edits? I haven't found that yet at least. But not had the need for them before this issue…

There is non for yearlines, if one exists it is at least not accessible for users or referees and as far as I know most admins.

I had someone edit the yearlines to this Icelandic note:

N#205396

I have corrected it, so I don't have to worry about the date disappearing, as on the first notes I saw this bug thing on.

And the forced dates disappeared there too, when I accepted the request. So it's not just a problem from my side of the computer.

Hi @Jamtrup, @Jarcek,

Please could you provide the bug description formatted the following way so that I can reproduce and understand the problem:

  1. Starting point;
  2. Exact steps to reproduce (the shortest and simplest way you can reproduce the issue consistently, please describe your actions in detail, e.g. adding “X*X” text to the field “Comment”, etc);
  3.  Expected result;
  4. Actual result.

If you could record a screen video, it would help even more.

For this one I:

Added signatures

Removed the signatures from the comment of each yearline.

Clicked “modify data” and some or all forced yearlines were gone. Expected result was the forced yearlines stay, while my changes also stay.

Hi, @dzmitry.huletski made fix. The issue was cause by the too long list of variety lines. It should work fine now.
