Hi vintagecollector! You probably found this thread on the coin page which is linked in this thread's post just before your post.

On the page, the 1970-star is listed for 1.10 USD for UNC and 0.85 for Almost Uncirculated. Your question here is unlikely to give a significantly different quote.

Of course you have to invest some time and money to find someone who is willing to pay the dollar or exchange it for that value. In all, this is an ordinary coin in a good condition, but not worth a fortune.

Probably you are referring to Mumbai mint coin while this one is from Hyderabad mint. The UNC coin value is not listed btw.
