I have what appears to be this note, but mine has both block and serial numbers. If anyone has any information about these I would greatly appreciate it.

Without pictures it's hard to tell.  Maybe you have this one instead?

No the reverse is different.

It is listed as the 1932 issue. It must be just like those Japanese occupations of Malaya where those initially issued ‘’banana leaves''  were printed with serial numbers, and later they just print them at will just with the prefixes or block letters.

You're right but the banknote page I gave has a picture of P#31 but also lists P#35. Here's a picture of P#35:

Thank you rsirian1, and ahkai. It seems like p35 should be on the same page as p36 since they are the same note.  Anyway, thanks again for the help in figuring this out.😃
