Currently shown as 1964-date.  They ceased operations in 2003.

Thanks …

It's a bit confusing because it seems they lived on as a merchandising company quite a bit longer (their zombie website is dated 2022).

But I can't find evidence of any coins or medals struck after 2003 date, so we will go with it.

“Near and dear” to my heart … I used to drive past their HQ on the way to work.

Franklin Mint is indicated up on http://en.ucoin.net as having been located in Coatesville.

https://en.ucoin.net/coin/bahamas-2-dollars-1985/?ucid=68657679 is one listing that says this.

Aidan.

I cannot find any other reference for the Franklin Mint having been located in Coatesville, PA.

I can, however, find a reference to a location in Exton, PA.

Every reference I see to its early operation puts it in Wawa, PA.  In its later years it was marketing/retailing other kinds of non-numismatic collectibles, so it is possible that these other nearby places were involved in retailing.
