Hey everyone!
Can anyone help me, what coin is it?
Some kind of denarius? Penny? 17mm diameter. Thank you so much for help. 🙂

maybe someone can guess the country?
Salve, sembra assomigliare alla croce sui denier di Brabante in Belgio…
Yes, the cross resembles the Brabant style cross, but the center of the cross is more elaborate than the Brabant types, and the size is too large (Brabant deniers are about 12 mm).
What is the obverse design?
Hey, thanks! It looks like some kind of building with a face inside and a cross to the left of the building
Could it be an imitation?
No one knows? 🙂
Bump!
I searched the rest of Low Countries medieval coins, and found a couple of things that have some similar features, but not a match.
This one has the cross divided into similar segments, and a building obverse, but it is a crozier in the gate of the building: N#308394.
Nivelles was in in the territory of Brabant, so their coins have the Brabant-style cross, but not the same as yours, and again the coin is much smaller.
I looked quickly at Crusader States and Bohemia, also with no luck.
Where have you looked?
Germany is the next obvious place to try.
I have searched so many countries. I think that it is some kind of coin from Germany or England but i'm not sure. I haven't found anything exactly similar. Anglo-Saxon coins are this size and somewhat similar design ..
(crosses, buildings, letters, etc).
I am very grateful to everyone for the information. 🙂
UP!
Any ideas? 🙂
