They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...

Why would anyone do that? To falsify a non-existent coin...?

 

Some people play games. Some commit fraud. It's possible it was practice for someone who wants to commit fraud.

Because they can, because they want to sell it as unique error coin, because who knows.  It is not the first one to be posted here.  

 

Looks like they machined off way too much.
