information on dashoard [solved]

The information your dashboard shows is really interesting but I am not if I am looking at that information in the right way.

The number displayed under “coins” shows how many coins you have entered into your catalog. If you have two identical coins from the same year and mintmark etc. it will show up as 2 and not 1, because that is the difference between the “coins” and “different coins” right?

I think Type means the different coins but if you have two from diffent years it only counts as 1 type. say you have a dutch 1 euro coin with the former queen on it from the year 2010 and 2011 it will count it as 1 type, but if you have a 1 euro coin with the former queen and a 1 euro coin with the current king it will count as 2 because those are two types?

About the number of countries. When does it count as a country? If it is currently a country/if it once was or still is a country/(do the subcatagories for certain countries also count as a country (for example if you have a german coin from Saxony does that count as a country or does that get added to germany). Also can a country only be counted once in the dashboard or, staying with germany, does it for example count germany (1871-1948) and Federal Republic of Germany as two countries?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Right

Type is Coin pages (N numbers). If the two coins are on different pages then two Types.

Countries is only top level. For instance all coins under top level Germany counts as only one country. In this example there are five issuers under the one country.

If the issuers have sub divisions of their own does that get counted under issuers (/does that have a diffent name)?

so Here Vatican City is the country. The issuers would be Papal States and Vatican city right? Or are Gubbio and Papal States the issuers but put under a generic name to make it look better in the lists?

Thanks for the help!!

3 coins, 3 issuers, 1 country
