This is my feelings on this stupid fad. The first time i can remember some stupid supper rare coin. Was the UK rare new pence on sale on E-bay. Pocket change, you can still find. Here in the US the one that to me was way over the edge were all the claims about the Suaan B. Anthony dollar, Km207. I remember one add, E-Bay, Supper rare Susan B. Anthony with FG on it. Only a few with a sad story about mom's coins left and need to sell. It is on every one the mint made. Or the S mint mark over a D mint mark. Really! All Susan B. mint mark are just bad. The S mint mark is really a bad. You can find filled and two different types just in mint sets alone. Here are three examples of the S mint mark on the 1979.
Yes these are all S mint marks. Yes it does look like an S over a D. But it never happened. Making up things like this to just sell at a higher price. To me needs to stop. It just way over the top. You know i always wanted to know how many of us, coin collectors have an S mint mark as a D. It is a very common coin and if you look at it fast you could make this mistake. This morning open my laptop and there was an add look through your jar of coin you may have a coin worth a mint. The jar was all Canadian coins. The top 8 rarest coins. Come on there are coin collectors in Canada who have never even seen these. Iam waiting for rare Canadian 1 cent coins. Not made any more only 100 dollars. Gee this morning i got a Candian 1980 1 cent coin. Do you think i can sell for 100 dollars.

I stop posting my finds , I find some of them not believable .But my little town has been very good to me. But are you finding these odd adds and sells too. Thanks for putting up with my rant. daryl
