New "Search tips" stepping on alternate keyboards

Impossible to select alternate keyboards in search function:

What browser are you using, have you tested on other browsers? I don't see that problem on either Firefox, Chrome, or Opera on desktop or mobile.

Hmmmm…..Firefox latest 128.0 9 July 2024. I'll check others.

 

Edit: This is goofy. In Edge all is OK:

Why has Firefox replaced the ? with the text?  Same in the filters (Firefox):

I had the similar problem in Firefox a few days ago were the Report the message to moderators-button symbol was replaced by the text ‘Report the message to moderators’ but it went away after a few hours.

Funny, that button is working as always.

 

Edit: Firefox in a private window works perfectly.  I'll try clearing cache.

 

Edit: Well that worked so never mind.  Still strange.
