I found 2 pages for ½ New Penny - Elizabeth II 2nd portrait,

other than having different KM ref no., I can't see a difference, although I am sure there is ! otherwise why 2 different pages exist.  And can this be clear in the comment section. Thanks  in advance

ok I got it, I am sorry, please excuse my ignorance  😰, the word “NEW”  is the difference.

Just to follow on:

The UK changed from it's old pre-decimal coinage in 1971 but kept the same name (Pounds & Pence).

So for issues for 1971 to 1981 (From 1968 for 5p & 10p which were introduced early to create some familiarity) were labelled as “New” pence to distinguish them from the old pence.

By 1981, the powers that be decided to change the wording from “new” to whatever the value of the coin was, which was introduced for the 1982 issues. So “half”, “one”, “two” etc.

 

There is at least one error issue, in 1983 some BU sets still used the “New” instead of “Two”. These are particularly rare, most did use the correct “Two”.
