Coins are duplicates. Probably I made duplicate more noticeable after asking to move coin from Poland to Lithuania. Catalog had Lithuanian coins minted before Union listed in Polish catalog branch. Lithuanian silver circulating in Poland before 1569 does not make coin Polish.

 

I would prefer to see coin listed as “Denar - Sigismund II August” or Augustus as in N#46192 to make name readable in English and avoid polonization.

 

1599 is obvious mint error as stated in first coin page. Sigismund II August died in 1572.

 

Maybe delete second page and merge references to Kopicki into first.

Yes, we do not need “Litewski” to distinguish it from other types since it is only made in Lithuania.

 

Agree your proposal and will try to add the photos for years with recognized Kop. variants.  Will take a bit of time.
