It was hard to search (5 times through all my 1 rupee coins), but good you asked, I neither found the 1998 nor the 1999 Pretoria, although I have registered it in my collection. So I also, checked for my 2 rupee coin from Pretoria, and that I have in my binder!
Bizarre, so now I am looking for the Pretoria coins again.

Haha, I too am guilty of adding the wrong India coins to my collection and then cant find them physically when sorting them to add to binders.
not good. Just looked at my collection and the 2000 i have listed as Pretoria is from Slovakia Kermina mint. I guess the mint mark for Pretoria is more oval not round.

I have nearly the full date/mint set of this type but have never seen one of these supposed Pretoria coins. I'm assuming it's people mistaking the Kremnica MK mint mark for the Pretoria M.
edit: On a related note, does anyone know what the ‘different mint mark’ is for the 1993/94 Noida coins?
No, I mean the 1993 • and 1994 • lines with the description “Mumbai mint, different mintmark.” Sorry for the confusion, I assumed they were Noida. There's no guide for them.
I've figured it out, there are two varieties for 1993. One has a rhombus for a mint mark (like 1992 Mumbai) and a small date that matches that on other mints of the year. The other has a square mint mark and a larger date.
1994 may have a large and small diamond, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
Unfortunately, these are two of the four date/mints of this type I don't have, so I'm not able to provide images for reference.
I also took pity and put "Pretoria mint" on the coin, and now under a microscope I find out that it is the Kremnice mint.
The Kremnice mint minted coins for the following states:India, Bangladesh, Paraguay, Venezuela, Thailand, Guatemala, Nepal, Slovenia, Tunisia, Mauritania
It is the oldest continuously operating mint in the world:

On the India 1 rupee coin, the mark looks like this:
MK -Mint Kremnica
Now show me what a 1 rupee coin minted in Pretoria looks like?
This is a 1993 Noida mint coin
Bombay Mint
Hyderabad Mint
The Kolkata Mint is unmarked on the coins.
I made a mistake on the 1998 coin, I wrote Pretoria. it was an error so I checked them all:
That's what I thought, people having MK coins marked it as M (Pretoria) accidentally, I'm aware that catalogs lists this variation as well but never seen 1 rupee from Pretoria with my eyes

Yes, for the 1998 1rupee coin, I misread it as Pretoria - because I issued the "M"
Maybe because we have a mistake in the picture as the brand "Pretoria" looks like on rupees.
I would like to add - maybe I was also confused by the designation, when Google automatically translates the page after opening it, so the coin from Kremnice is marked with "mil" and Pretoria with "M", so I will include what I see.

Ivan
i dont know, catalog says this:
this description matches the Pretoria mintmark on 2 rupee coins… but I'm yet to see one on 1 rupee coin.
