100 USD 1990 note with security thread

Hi, has this bill any special value ? I'm outside USA so difficult to exchange into euros.

Is it a star replacement note, has it printing errors, does it have a funny serial number? If all of the answers are no, then no it's worth face value. There should also be money exchangers in every larger city they will take your note and exchange it (but I don't know how much they flees of of you.)

Unfortunately, I don't think that bill has special features. However , i"ve tried 3 bureaux de change in Paris, the three of them did refuse to exchange since they are old notes. 

Hm, seems like this is a problem form many many years now when I look at old threads on the internet. Maybe you know someone who is travelling to the states? Or sell it on eBay for near face 😅.

Be careful with the eBay fees. I would start it at a rate equivalent to USD $115, so that you don’t lose any value and it is still around face value.

Thank you but why would someone buy it more than its face value+the hassle ?

You won’t find it cheaper on eBay than that, unless someone didn’t factor in the fees. People are also more willing to pay a small premium for older notes, especially considering its value.
