Request to split Malta and Hospitaller Malta

This is probably a controversial and hot topic, but here goes:

Could we split or at least make two sub-issuere for Malta? Into Malta and Hospitaller Malta, I feel since we already have split such states like Portugese Timor and Timor-Leste, Portuguese Guinea and Guinea-Bissau, it would make sense as to be consitent?

To me, French Malta, British Malta and Republic of Malta can just go under Malta.

I think it will make sense for Malta as well, since it's different political entities..?

Since the geography is consistent over time, aren't we already accomplishing ths through our list of Ruling Authorities there?  

We may have a way to differntate these periods a bit more strongly without creating sub-issuers.

I have to ask, without being an expert on colonial geography and history, but isn't that also the case for eg. Timor Leste? Same area under Portugese rule as an independent state? 🤔

We create period issuers only when there is a change in country name. I asked Xavier to study the 2 cases you pointed above, but Malta stayed Malta whatever the ruling authorities I believe
