New line South Africa 2022 KM497 ALS under coat of arms:

many thanks.

ilovemanchester

The correct type is this one:  N#20123

… and there is alreay a statement in the Comments section that the ALS has moved to below the shield with the 2022.

So it looks like this is unneeded.

But this one is 2022 (Aforika Borwa - South Africa) not 2022 (South Africa - Afrika Dzonga).

Ah, sorry for the mistake.  I will take another look.

In the first post there is a request to add a date line for 2022 to the coin linked there.

Thank you.

It seems that the year 2022 should be in this page:

N#21983

And not in this page (as it is now):

N#20123

Coin referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea, Marshall Islands, Moldova, Liberia and Spain
Banknote referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea and Spain

It seems that the year 2022 should be in this page:

N#21983

And not in this page (as it is now):

N#20123

Probably both pages. Numismaster has added 2022 to KM# 468.

I still believe that the 2022 coin should be associated with KM#497 and not the one it is now (KM#468). I think that, perhaps, it is a Numismaster error that we have associated in Numista.

We know for sure, from the initial pictures, that the year 2022 belongs to KM#497, if it also belonged to KM#468 (which I do not believe and which is also not correlative with the series) it would mean that in 2022 1 Rand coins have been issued with 2 different lettering.

I don't think that happened, perhaps the best thing would be to ask the people who have that coin what legend there is on it to clear up doubts. I have not seen a single 2022 coin on Internet with the legend KM#468 (South Africa - Afrika-Dzonga)

In Ucoin:

https://es.ucoin.net/coin/south_africa-1-rand-2009-2021/?tid=17970

Coin referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea, Marshall Islands, Moldova, Liberia and Spain
Banknote referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea and Spain

I added the yearline, as it clearly exists. It depends on further research, if it exists for both versions.

Thanks for your patience

I had a look at the coins I have.  and I have to agree, that the correct one according to my coins are N#21983, so in combination with 2010 and 2012.

The current listing on this page, from my point of view is thus wrong, N#20123, with 2009 and 2021.

In the meantime I have requested a contact of mine, who has access to coins, to confirm that there is only one type for 2022.  i will also speak to coin dealres in South Arica and find out what their opinion is.

So I will greate the correct year lines for 2022 with 2010 and 2012.

If it tuns out there is two types, we can correct this then.
