Background use.

@Xavier , I use a green background for my photos, as I have vision problems, & a white background is very hard on my eyes.

Both @by.abay  & @Compendium  are unjustly rejecting my photos, as has @brismike  from time to time.

Please cut me some slack, & don't tell me to remove the background - as I use the photos for up on http://www.allnumis.com , http://www.banknotebank.com/collection/BCNumismatics , http://www.banknoteindex.com , http://en.ucoin.net , http://www.omnicoin.com/collection/BCNumismatics , & http://www.zeno.ru .

We are simply asking you to use a free tool to remove background to our photo before uplaoding :-)

There is no reason we would do an exception of Numista quality for your submissions.

I sometimes do it myself (downloading photos, cropping them, reuplaod them without changing source) for when the requester is new and did only 1 request, but I expect regular users like you to follow our guidelines or it creates way too much work for referees.

The words at the bottom of this page is what is required. However if I get an improved picture with a non white background I will crop it myself and reload with original source. Any I reject or ask for modification are usually not as good as the existing pic. You can always appeal any rejections.

I do not think my rejection was unreasonable. The Numista guidelines as shown by brismike explicitly mention white background. Citing examples in other websites are somewhat irrelevant, because they do not use Numista's guidelines which are used here. I do not yet understand why “cutting some slack” is applicable in this case.

In any case as I recall, the picture you've sent does not have clear advantage over existing picture. Your submission has less clear inscription. You are welcome to appeal my rejections.

None of the 132,910 images - provided by members or authorized sites - that I improved supplied any external site, nor were proposals refused.

Consult the T&Cs  CGU of external sites to find out where photos of which you are not the author can go.
