Mint Kutná Hora Czechia

Hello colleagues - today I received another gift here in Prague - it is a token referring to the "Vlašsky dvůr" mint in Kutná Hora - the Kingdom of Bohemia.  There was a king who had a bedroom built above the workshops so that he could hear the 24-hour minting of "Prague pennies" in all the mints, and to monitor the purity of the silver - that's why they were the first Eurocoins valid throughout Europe - their purity was controlled by the emperor.

It should be the sacred place of all numismatists - if you visit Prague - it is only 1.5 hours by train - the visit is worth it.

Ahoj Ivan
