As I am gathering more information on the signatures of Russia, particularly the Russian Empire, I am noticing that some of the signatories sign in larger areas than what they held a position in the state bank for. As an example, Pavel Konstantinovich Baryshev had been signing on banknotes as early as 1898 (P#1), when he had not even entered the institution until 1900. I was curious what the best course of action would be concerning the many signatures like this one.
Additionally, many of the signatories hold several positions over the issuing date range of a banknote, but there is no way to tell the difference of what position they held based off of the banknote. I will use Anatoly Konstantinovich Bylinsky as an example: He holds the position of Second Grade Assistant Controller for the years 1914-1916. He is also a First Grade Assistant Cashier for the years 1916-1917. These postions cover the entirety one of the variants of P#10b, the one signed by I. P. Shipov and A. K. Bylinsky for the Russian Empire. Since it seems weird to have the same person on a variant twice, what would be the best way to show this when updating variants in the future?
