Tübingen is a traditional university town in central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 30 km (19 mi) south of the state capital, Stuttgart, and developed on both sides of the Neckar and Ammer rivers. As of 2014 After the First World War, "Stadt" Tübingen issued notgeld in response to a severe shortage of currency.
