Need Help With This Coin

Hi All,

I had a customer come into my office to buy something unrelated to coins and he asked if i was a collector which i am. He then pulled out a coin from his pocket which his father had been carrying with him in his pocket since around 1900 ish. 

He says his father got it from India, but having searched through the Indian coin section on Numista and Google, i cannot for the life of me find anything.

Could someone please help me to identify this coin

You're welcome. I've seen the same design with stated compositions of silver, brass and bronze.
