Shamik

I don't collect euro coins so I don't know what a fair price for it would be but as far as I know the only coin shop in Zagreb and Croatia as a whole is: https://kolekcionar.hr/

I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

Hi  This shop is very expensive. My friend from Split did tell me but warned the coins are very expensive here. Will the Central Bank have them cheaper?

If some collector wants to swap with me I can do so as well. I have Austria and Greece Erasmus 2 Euros plus other  non euro coins mostly India, Oman etc

As I said, I don't collect euro coins and have no idea what a fair price for it is. As far as I know these coins aren't meant for circulation so you can't buy them in banks, they were only sold to collectors by the central mint for 10 euro and as per the mints official page they're sold out: https://croatianmint.hr/trgovina/novac/prigodna-kovanica-od-2-eura-clanica-europodrucja-2023/

This is the coin card version. There was a circulating version as well which is what I look for.

I haven't seen any of these in circulation which doesn't mean they don't exist just that if they do they're rare. The central banks website is right there, check what they have to sell. You could try asking a regular bank to check if they have it and are willing to exchange it for another 2 euro coin but I doubt the bank clerks are willing to help. Your best bet is probably to try and swap with someone.

Hi Shamik,

I bought in summer of 2022 the last 25 kuna coin at a market: Britanski Trg Market.

Fair price, there were a lot of coins/notes-sellers. I don't know on what days these market is, but I think you can buy the coin there. Hopefully for a reasonable price.

Good luck!

Greetings,

Peter

I agree.. Best is to swap with someone. Normally bank clerks  will hoard it themselves. However sometimes they help. LAst timeI went to central bank of Malta and  requested and they got me the 2 Euro comms at issue price,

The antiques market on Britanski square is still active, you can check their facebook page for further info: https://web.facebook.com/Britanacantikvarijatnatrgu

The national bank/tresury was selling them, but they have been sold out pretty fast and are now being resold by private individuals for more than they were bought. I assume, some were released into circulation, but I haven't seen one yet.
