pai vs1944 (ad1887), 80 off-set

pai vs1949 (ad1892), 45° off-set

I have another ad1892 also with off-set!
Is off-sets the rule for the type km31?

Misaligned dies are very common in the Indian Princely States' coin series, not only for Baroda, Ole.

That I assumed as well, I'm just surprised there are NO comments on it.
I just added comments.
Variable alignment ↺ ?
I had thought about that, but didn't find the icon😄
As already pointed out such thing as alignment is not to be expected in any Princely states coins, some listed under machine struck are actually done by hand using a flypress, Jaipur Nazarana rupees are an example of this.
Here is a Baroda paisa struck without a collar so the flan expands oversize and yet it still shows it's been circulated,
So now to the question, should the (variable) random orientation be applied to all princely states or not?

It depends on the actual mint, some were struck at the states own mint and die alignment would mean nothing to the workers employed there. Some were struck with dies, blanks and machinery sent out from the Birmingham mint, England such as many of the Travancore coins. These are all perfectly aligned because the dies would fit the machine in one way only.
