India 1972 25 paise possibly Mule coin

5 posts • viewed 162 times

Hello friends, I have identified this coin as 49.7 Mule which falls under rare category.

As per Numista catalogue Obverse 48.1 & Reverse 49.1 is a Mule which is rare. As per me this coin fulfills this criteria.

Query

1. Can this be identified as above Mule ?

2. If Mule then what is it's rarity index and value ?

Views will be appreciated.

Thanking you.

The whiskers are worn off by wear and tear in my opinion and not missing from the minting process, so it's just an ordinary coin. Try to make a macro image.

whiskers are definitely worn off but not completely, they can be seen under a magnifying glass. Still, I have tried to take a best possible picture which is as below, hope it helps.

Thanking you

If it is the mule, as far as value, it can be found here as US $0.75 in VF condition and 10% of the NRI of 8 is large (not too "rare").  Note that SCWC changed the KM number from 48.4 to 49.7.

Thank you friend.

Further, what should be the value for this 1968 50 Paise Mumbai mint with Type 2 variety(D pointing up) ?

Thanking you
