1906 10 Cash - Guangxu [solved]

Got this coin many years ago and I know that Chinese coins are commonly faked so I was hoping someone with more China expertise could help determine if this is real or not, and if it is real which coin exactly it is since there are many variants of this coins and I find it hard to tell them apart.

Weight: 7.42g

Diameter: 28mm

Thanks,

Anthony

It's N#243814 .

If it's real or not I'll leave to the experts.

We hear a lot about fake Chinese silvers, but I don't know much about fake Chinese coppers.

The one I own of similar type is real for sure because it's very worn from circulation.

About yours, I'll leave to others but pointing that the weight is a little off (Yours is a bit heavier).

Giobruno is correct, as to whether it's authentic, I don't see why they would fake it, they tend to target gold and silver, coppers are very rarely faked unless they are copying an exceptionally rare year / type

The weight thing is curious as I do see some of the other variants have matching weights, but I am at a loss there. I’d be happy if it real cause that’s just another coin in my collection, but if it is fake, it’s not a loss since I got it for free out of a pick bin at a show.
