Hello!

I was adding some coins and I accidentally somehow added some multiple times:

Added 2 times:

#401229 , #401230

Added 2 times:

#401232 , #401233

Added 4 times

#401241 , #401240 , #401239 , #401238

Please remove all but one from each.

I do now know what caused this, so it’ll not happen again.

Thank you in advance to whichever moderator can do this.

It’s good, thank you

This sometimes happens when there is double click/connection problem. We are working on an automatic solution for this.

Is there an automatic solution for a referee validating 4 identical pages in a row?

Yes, is it is layed out it would just delete the pages, regardless of their status - not yet published or already validated.

That is not an answer to rsirian1's question. How is it possible a referee accepts 4 duplicates in a matter of seconds and nobody cares? I saw them too, but didn't report it because nothing regarding referees happens anyway. There are referees who don't even read a single request and just spam the accept button, adding duplicates, copyright violations and horrendous new pages to Numista.

It is quite easy to click a button, get distracted for a moment, flick your eyes back to screen thinking nothing had happened and accepting again. :)

Wow, that's the worst explanation I ever heard. For big companies, such a statement would be a PR disaster…

We both know why nothing happens, so let's just keep it at that. I will just keep shaking my head in silence when I see the next terrible Numista entry.

Actually, all referees are only humans, and stuff like this happens. Be it on your decision making, there would be noone on the team at all.

Wow, I didn't expect an admin to actually call it out loud. Let me paraphrase it:

“If we had any standards, no one would be on the team at all”.

Because what is a lower standard than reading the request you're supposed to process? That's basically the whole job (doesn't matter if paid or voluntarily). Nobody accepts four requests within seconds without looking by accident. That's on purpose.

I am just wasting my time. I said that if it was up to you, there would be no volunteers at all. And Numista would be never build.

You were invited to be a referee several times, and you always turned that down. So spare us of this high-castle preaching without any actual referee experience, constantly hating what others do willingly on their own free time. Numista is not a service paid from your taxes, stop acting like it was.

I also asked mods to lock this, in order to save guys who actually did some work on this from useless forum notifications.
