I agree.. I have a 10 kg bucket, but shipping outside Italy is nonsense for its value :(

You must live in a fairytale world: 30 and more years ago, BEFORE “modern technologies”, postal services were cheap. Then came private courier services and prices went up and up and up. Government posts saw this trend and quickly jumped on that train; why not enjoy at least a piece of that sweet cake? 

So - to conclude with Dante: “abandon hope, all ye who enter here”. And welcome to the Brave New World. 

To send 1 kilo would cost 17 USD in shipping.

If you travel to Holland, I will hand over you a few kilos of different coins, all for free….

The best way to swap big amounts of coins it's by doing it from hand to hand. 

In the Netherlands I've been lucky enough to swap 10 kg of coins several times.  No costs, everybody happy.

By the way, need to update my full swap list once again!
