Hello there!

As you may know, we are curretly working on translation of Numista to several new languages.

German was started on beginning of February and Italian, Portuguese and Dutch are going to be next. (There will be more after that.)

Some of the people I spoke to told me that they would actually prefer the site to remain in English, as they are either used to it or want to learn. I understand that reasoning, and there is actually an easy solution for this.

When you access Numista.com, it will decide on the language for you, (based on browser settings), so only thing you need to do is to bookmark en.numista.com (or fr.numista, or any preffered) and everytime you oprn Numista through that, it will be in English (or any other language you selected)

Best regards,

Jarek

Lucky…. Whatever Xavier says, it seems like numista gets slower after each new language?

If anything, it is related to the expanding user numbers. :)

It comes to the same. More uploads with different languages and more translations.

On top of that more data bases to save and the robot must be going crazy to keep all the languages up to date.

Of course, that couldn't be a problem, could it?

Actually it is not that hard, after initial translation of user interface, AI trained for Numismatics will translate all page descriptions during one night.

All in all, numista is not getting slower? So what's the reason for the slow reaction times?

For me it is lightning fast.
