Really ? I haven't taken part since you went down this route I don't know what half of these countries are called in their own tongue.. If you are going to do this you should have to include the English translation too.

I've also gotten a 2 cent coin in New Zealand, in a small shop near Rotaroa. Circulation as well (I don't think that's even legal) but whatever.

What I liked about this idea was that it could take a while to get a coin from that country so people would have to wait.

The main aim of thread ( as I understood) was to show FAVORITE ( = beautiful) coins from this or those countries, but what we see here for many countries, people just post first coin they found. I cannot imagine that Polish 5 grozsy of 90-s is favorite POlish coin for any of us....
