Hello,

please add the following ruling authorities to the Duchy of Prussia

Albert

fr (Albert)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert,_Duke_of_Prussia

Duke 1525–1568

Albert Frederick

(fr) Albert-Frédéric

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Frederick,_Duke_of_Prussia

Duke 1568–1618

John Sigismund

(fr) Jean III Sigismond

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Sigismund,_Elector_of_Brandenburg

Duke  1618–1619

George William

(fr) Georges-Guillaume Ier

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_William,_Elector_of_Brandenburg

Duke  1619–1640

Frederick William

(fr) Frédéric-Guillaume Ier

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_William,_Elector_of_Brandenburg

Duke  1640–1688

Frederick III

(fr) Frédéric III

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_I_of_Prussia

Duke  1640–1688

(For Frederick III attention, Federick I is only as king. Frederick III is his title as duke).

Thank you,

Paul

Good catch.  In progress.

Good catch.  In progress.

Careful, there is now a duplicate for Albert

And all the other rulers are here

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/brandenburg_prussia-1.html

They are listed as Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire and not all are listed.

also some appear as HRE Emperors in Brandenburg-Prussia and some as HRE in Duchy of Prussia

They are not, there is a margin for rulers being under the group normally, which does not appear for you. It is a bug. What is your browser?

This pictured example was on Safari Iphone.

Here a pictured example for when I search for Frederick III

It appears iphones are not able to represent properly lists with some items being part of a group and others that are not part of any group. There is nothing I can do to fix it.

Could you please clarify what is the issue with Frederick III? For the Duchy of Prussia, the only Frederick III currently defined is the HRE emperor (1452-1493), which is assigned to the section German States in our database. Frederick III (1688-1701) is assigned to the State of Brandenburg-Prussia, so not selectable for the Duchy of Prussia.

Are there other items to fix?

I added a group of ruler “House of Hohenzollern” to State of Brandeburg-Prussia, for the list to look better :-)

An improvement could be maybe to not mix direct rulers and inherited rulers (like: gathering at the bottom of the list the inherited rulers?)

Any different order than the chronological order seems counter-intuitive to me.

It looks much better now and Friedrich III is now easier to find.

Thank you, I guess this topic can be closed.

OK I close (@tdziemia I deduplicated Albrecht :-) )

Thank you for stopping me before I went any further 😁 (I was already confused by the different branches of the Hohenzollerns anyhow).
