Is this coin Kishangarh or Jaipur?

KISHANGARH: AR nazarana paisa (18.12g), “Sawai Jaipur”, year 16, KM-A62, in the name of Muhammad Akbar II, lovely bold strike, EF, RR $180 - 240 According to Shailendra Bhandare, “this coin is definitely a Kishangarh piece - it is often wrongly attributed to Jaipur, but Kishangarh minted copies of the Jaipur paisas and if you compare the dies of these to the full dies here (Ashmolean and British Museum collections), you will see this clearly.” However, the attribution to Kishagarh or Jaipur remains unresolved.

Shailen is usually right and probably is here, All i can say is that the Jhar symbol with 3 leaves is typical of Jaipur, whereas some Kishangarh rupees have slightly different design of Jhar with 4 leaves

Apparently, I mention this coin in an old thread https://en.numista.com/forum/topic49971.html#p416707

So is it still “Unlisted in Krause as it's KM#A62 is attributed to Jaipur”  ????

To me, it looks very much like Jaipur, not Kishangarh. ~ Paul M. Paquette
