Where do I put notes that don't match the dates? For example 7-6-41. This date does not appear on the list. Maybe I'm just an idiot but any help would be appreciated.

You can choose to edit the banknote and add in a new date to the varieties section.

Edit a note by clicking on the pen (circled in red).
Add in a variety by filling in information in the Varieties section (blank line in red rectangle).

Okay,  that makes sense. I have come across several notes with unlisted dates so I guess they just need to be added.
