I just got this in a trade, but the catalog is properly documented, or I'm just stupid, since I don't see if my bird is smooth or embossed? When somebody adds a yearline like this:
I would expect the referee to ask for the documentation.

I have been through my 200 pesos coins, and it seems to me, that all Macaus from 2012 to 2022 at least have plain necks. Hence, I have concluded that this documentation might be correct? I still want to see, though, an image of the 2023 plain neck.

During a recent trip to Colombia I kept all the shiny ones, all of which had quite visible feathers (also on the neck) and were it not for your post, I would have discarded also the plain-neck one on the RHS in the picture above. Now, glad I didn't.
