The picture of this coin does not look like copper. There must be a mistake (picture or description).

Hello Everyone, sorry did not see this post earlier, sorry for the delayed response.

after a quick look I do confirm that this coin is an Egyptian coin minted in Egypt as the word مصر “Misr = Egypt" can be clearly seen. Also I do confirm the ruling was for Osman III as Geison and Compenium suggested.

However I need to look into the value, as it might be not Para as the weight does not confirm with KM#95 Para - Osman III  but rather with KM#94 which is actually copper as prescribed in the details of the current coin in question. So do not merge, we need to make sure its not KM#94 which is not actually in the catalogue, I'll look into it and let you know ASAP

ok, so after a little more research, as i guessed, this is not a para but rather a Jadid (KM94) ( which translates to the word New), it is different than  a Para. It was produced out of copper with no silver in its composition during times of economical crisis. unlike the rest of Ottoman coinage which were usually Billion, silver or gold, this is in term of coin description.

As for the picture, not resembling copper coins, I think the lights while taking the pictures are messed up.
