India Mint Sets Proof/unc [solved]

I’ve noticed recently that Numista is now making Distinctions between coins on the basis of the packaging they’ve been made in.

here is an example for NTR : N#376422

there is indeed a distinction to be made for the mint mark, but do we want to start having separate lines based on the colour and Type of packing. I recall we had a ferocious discussion along similar lines already for Canadian coins with the referee eventually departing and undoing all those lines. i Would suppose we will do the same for India. 
 

I’m not against this distinction, but I think this will become very unwieldy very quickly because the Indian mints are starting to get… “creative”

No, we list coins not packages, right now I thought only the Australian ref and the Canadian one did that. The Canadian is now gone, don't now if those get reverted.

Unless we get a proper set feature these listings (outside the comment section of a page) should be discouraged rigorously.

In Australia, it was “nearly” always with the package, but for a non-Australian, it's hard to find the proper line to add your coin. Canada was a special case, and I hope they come back to “normal” year lines.

Thanks Jarcek. I believe only the proof coins come with that Wooden/MDF box packing. The UNC coins come in a blister folder
